Açai Berry Antioxidant Bowl
There is a reason why açai bowls have become a mainstream staple in almost every smoothie and juice bar! They are visually beautiful; you have a richly pigmented, frozen purple base topped with an array of fresh fruits and delectable toppings. The satisfaction that we get from consuming one of these beauties is one that fills us with happiness and joy, that makes us feel like we don't have to choose between indulging our taste buds AND being health conscious. THIS is the exact feeling that food we put into our bodies should give us.
Not only a stunning fruit, the açai berry has an astounding number of health benefits that should encourage us to consume more of it when we can! This Amazonian fruit grows in such a harsh tropical environment that it must produce high amounts of antioxidants, to protect itself from harmful UV exposure and to our fortunate benefit as well! Just a few more (but not all) nutritional benefits of the açai berry include:

- 1 Packet or 1 C Frozen Açai Berries, Unsweetened & Organic
- 1 Banana
- Handful Each: Berries (Strawberries, Raspberries, Blueberries)
- 1/2 C Granola
- 1/3 C Unsweetened Almond Milk
- Coconut Shavings
- Add frozen açai berries, 1/2 banana, and almond milk into a blender. Mix until fruits and almond milk are creamy.
- Pour into a bowl, and top with an UNLIMITED amount of your favorite fruits, nuts, or other healthy toppings. Or try out this simply berry delicious version topped with berries, and raw apple cinnamon granola!
Serve Right away! If açai blend starts to melt and becomes more smoothie than soft serve, simply let the entire bowl sit in the freezer for a couple of minutes.
